What I Learned This Week - 2/8/13

1.  Apparently it's illegal to bump draft a student driver.
2. The next time I get on a competitive sporting team, I'm going to insist our team name is, "BYE WEEK". Imagine the possibilities.
3. After seeing the success of a couple of girls that convinced their parents to get them a puppy if they got a one million likes on Facebook, I tried the same thing with my wife a new triathlon-bike. She replied, “likes do not equal money”.
4. Any of the manufacturers of Android devices would make a bazillion dollars if they made a Star Wars themed phone and advertised it as, "The droid you're looking for". LED light saber indicator, built-in custom ring tones based on the characters....How have they not thought of this yet?
5. I know a lot of people that make amazing chicken wings. This makes me happy, happy happy.
6. I’m pretty sure that Super Bowl halftime show got me pregnant.
7. I have Jerry McGuire moments when using Google. It auto-completes me.
8. If a woman dances on the treadmill next to you in the gym and you give her a dollar, you will get slapped....and lose the dollar.
9. I love how technology is influencing gamer fitness. The zombie smart phone game  (Zombies, RUN!) where you have to actually run in real life to escape the is hilariously fun.  The more miles you log, the more you unlock new features. 
10. Sinus congestion is almost as bad as being sick. Especially when people state, "You sound horrible" and you have to answer, "Yes, but I feel fine".
11. There is a single colored bar at the end of most squeezy tubes product (lip gloss, lotion, toothpastes, etc).  It is a color coding system to indicate what the product contains, green bar - the ingredients are all natural. Red bar - the ingredients contain chemicals, black bar - it's all chemicals. I spent half a day wandering around my office picking up tubes of stuff to verify this.
12. I look forward to and dread the annual father daughter dance. I love the date night, but I'm not a fan of doing it with so many other people  - especially loud girls.
