What I Learned This Week - 6/12/15

  1.  188 days until "Star Wars - the Force Awakens" (aka: Episode VII) is in theaters.
  2. 8 Days until the team start of RAAM.
  3. It is impossible to walk through an office building carrying a box of donuts without receiving at least one snarky comment.
  4. People on TV never say any form of “goodbye” when ending on a phone call – they just hang up.
  5. Fungus can grow in your brain (yes, while you are alive) . #TheresMyProblem
  6. According to my oldest, she walks around like everything is fine, but deep down inside….her shoe……her sock is falling off.
  7. Apparently “hipsters” are passé – the new cool thing is to be a “yuccie” (from “young urban creative”) and they are defined as being the cultural offspring of yuppies and hipsters. #HateThemAlready.
  8. Don’t ever say aloud, “I can’t possibly be any more stressed”, because yes…..yes you certainly can.
  9. Many 3-D printers have built-in commands to print a replacement part that is failing inside them. #HowDoesItKnow
  10. “Bacon-wrapped-onion-rings” are a thing.
  11. “Who is eating cereal X” is a major cause of 11-year old drama.
  12. According to my youngest, "Sawdust is man glitter". I'm okay with that.
