What I Learned This Week - 6/5/15

  1.  195 days until "Star Wars - the Force Awakens" (aka: Episode VII) is in theaters.
  2. 15 Days until the team start of RAAM.
  3. According to my youngest, holy water is made by putting water in a pot and then boiling the hell out of it.
  4. According to Marketing Director - due to the commitment of keeping their product Kosher, you will never see bacon (or any meat product) as an ingredient to Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream.
  5. Using only Facebook likes, data mining researchers can accurately predict your race, sexuality, intelligence, and political affiliation.
  6. According to my middle daughter, the definition of “cannibal” is “someone who is fed up with people”.
  7. Cougar loop hill repeats are not for Pu----pumas. #PGRating.
  8. “Deep-fried-bacon-wrapped-Oreos” are a thing.
  9. In any form of training (running, cycling, triathlon, wrestling, etc) there is a fine line between “awesome” and “vomit”.
  10. Best response by my oldest to my typical, “you run like a girl” comment – “if you ran faster, you could too”.
  11. Chris Farley was the original voice of Shrek. He completed recording 85% of the movie before he died in 1997.
  12. According to my middle child, when a pregnant human swims, she is technically a human submarine.
