What I Learned This Week - 10/23/15

  1.  55 days until "Star Wars - the Force Awakens" (aka: Episode VII) is in theaters. #YesIHaveTickets #ThanksKenPrice
  2. According to my middle child, only Grandma understands her junk food needs.
  3. If you send me a link to “T-Rex on a stripper pole” I will click on it and laugh.
  4. The perfect pint of Guinness should take 119.5 seconds to pour.
  5. The first Guinness Book of World Records was published to help settle arguments in the pubs. #NoGoogle
  6. As of this past Wednesday, the entire Back to the Future movie series takes place in the past.
  7. “Boob twerking” is a thing.
  8. There is now a bathing suit that actually cleans oils from the water – and it’s made of sugar. #NotWashable.
  9. The Simpsons character, Milhouse, made his first appearance in a Butterfinger commercial.

  11. Best free public wifi name this week, “the Promised LAN”.
  12. My oldest is convinced there is such a thing as “pumpkin spice motor oil”.
  13. Some people believe “Ford Truck Month” is a holiday season.
  14. P is the symbol for the chemical element phosphorous. Phosphorous can be distilled from urine. #ISeeWhatYouDidThere.
  15. There is such a thing as a Wi-Fi enabled crock pot.
  16. The infamous computer generated dancing baby (Aka “Baby cha-cha”) of Ally McBeal fame is 19 years old this week.
