What I Learned This Week - 6/24/16

  1.  538 days until Star Wars - Episode VIII is in theaters. 
  2. Automated conference room chairs that put themselves back to their original table position are a thing. #NotInMyOffice
  3. Nobody tunes my bike(s) better than Kompetitive Edge. I don’t know why I ever go anywhere else. #WorthEveryPenny #MoveCloser
  4. Six days without kids is actually somewhat creepy. #NoNoises
  5. Six days with my wife without kids is amazing. #RetirementWontBeBoring #LoveOfMyLife
  6. My wife, all our outdoor toys and I can effectively live (Sleep, drink, relax, cook, eat, drink, etc) in a 400sf condo for a week with room left over, leaving me to question the size of my house. #OhYeahKidsAndDogs
  7. When all else fails, go to the hot tub. #WithBeverage
  8. The interwebz phenom, Chewbacca-mom now has her own action figure. #DoesntLaugh
  9. A NASA engineer created a Nerf gun that can shoot Nerf darts at 40mph – so fast that the dart can break a window. #ThatWillLeaveAMark #DefeatsThePurpose
  10. One of the sweetest things my middle daughter has ever said to me is, “OMG I see what you mean about the pizza in New York”.
  11. If you fall asleep in a vehicle with my teens, expect no less than 200 photos of your drooling, open-mouth slumber to appear on social media sites with captions such as “sheez dedz” or “seeping bewty”. #YouveBeenWarned
