What I Learned This Week - 4/28/17

  1.  230 days until Star Wars - Episode VIII – The Last Jedi is in theaters.
  2. “A butt tuba” is the same spelled backwards. #StillHaveNoIdeaHowToUseThisInfo
  3. Apparently Star Trek themed bathing suits are known as, “Trekinis”. #MakeItSo #Engage
  4. According to a coworker a coffee bean should be an acceptable birthstone. #EvryBirthStone
  5. My middle daughter does not like affection and only succumbs to hugs with motherly guilt statements such as, “I didn’t birth you for rejection”. #LoveThemBoth
  6. Even in their teenage maturity, in order to take a photo of my three girls smiling nicely together, I must take 42 photos of goofy grins, winking, blinking, biting hair, peace signs, duck faces before I lose it and yell to sit still before the magic quality photo appears. #sigh
  7. Sesame Street’s Oscar the grouch was originally orange when he made his debut in 1969. #OrangeYouGladHesGreen
  8. According to a passenger at my airport, Nintendo failed and lost his business because they did not name “Mario Kart” “Mario Speedwagon”. #ThatsActuallyPrettyOSM
  9. USB keyboards can be used on Android phones and tablets without any software modification, just a handy $2 adapter. #TheMoreYouKnow
  10. As good of an idea as it may seem, a running treadmill does not make a good impromptu substitute for bike rollers. #WayTooSlow #NotNearlyLongEnough
