What I Learned This Week - 12/1/17

  1.  13 days until Star Wars - Episode VIII – The Last Jedi is in theaters.
  2. Apparently, cupcakes are also known as “party muffins”. #WhoKnew
  3. You never appreciate how good old dogs are until you have a young dog around.
  4. My new favorite game to play at coffee shops is “hipster or civil war movie extra”. #SurprisinglyHard
  5. “Dad bod” is not synonymous with “father figure”. #ItShouldBe
  6. Peeing in public is forbidden only if you open your pants. #weird
  7. I’m fairly certain the creator of the Tamagotchi created the Fit-Bit in an effort to keep the human race alive. #maybe
  8. I have no idea how such a small dog poops so much. #ItsEverywhere
  9. According to my lab, deer are really fun to chase until they turn around – then they are scary monsters. #EspeciallyOnesWithDevilHorns
  10. Animal shelters should team with therapist offices to help patients move through phases of depression faster. #maybe
  11. My staff doesn’t find the humor in the fact that all 1:1s (face to face meetings) must occur at 1pm. #EasyToRemember
  12. I’m in the minority that believes self-check-out isles are not even a little bit awesome. #OMGItsSomeonesJob #MakeItemsCheaperAndIllUseIt
  13. You cannot convince me otherwise of the fact that the background singers in the song “Thunder” by Imagine Dragons are not singing “Fun Dip”. #NotThunder #YoureGoingToListen
  14. According to my springer, dogs pretty much get by on just good looks and charm. #CantArgue
  15. I have to remind my teens that the music played at an Olympic event is called a “national anthem”, not “country music”. #PlayOhSayCanYouSeeSong
