What I Learned This Week - 2/9/18

  1.  678 days until Star Wars Episode IX is in theaters.
  2. There is a subway in Moscow, Russia that allows passengers to perform squats instead of paying for their fare. #Train-ing
  3. “WWW” is faster to type but longer to say than “world wide web”. #fact
  4. I have no idea why the word “palindrome” isn’t one. #english
  5. We someone asks who I think is dreamy, “Hermione Granger in a pensive” is not the answer they are looking for.
  6. “Marvel-superhereos-as-characters-of-the-Emperor’s-New-Groove” is a thing – a hilarious thing.
  7. There is a difference between “amino acids” and “anime acids”. #apparently
  8. I have no idea why the new Han Solo movie isn’t being released on May 4th. #missedOpportunity
  9. After successfully building and launching a rocket that sent his own sports car into space (equipped with a “stuffed” astronaut – named STARMAN - in the driver’s seat), I’m fairly certain Elon Musk is my spirit animal.
  10. I don’t understand how the Tesla Roadster sent into space can still be called a “roadster”. #SpacesterIsAHighSchoolJunkie
  11. The Tesla Roadster sent to space is now technically the fastest car, travelling about 16,528 MPH.
  12. I’m very thankful Elon Musk has not decided to become an evil scientist. #SortOf

  14. I thought I understood the phrase “It’s water under the bridge” until a coworker used followed by, “because I’m over it”. #Oh
  15. In modern culture, “Fam” is the gender-neutral version of “bro”. #maybe
