What I Learned This Week - 11/30/18

  1.  384 days until Star Wars Episode IX is in theaters.
  2. For the last time, I was not the person in the bear suit that tore apart tents of black Friday campers. #KicksBearSuitUnderBed
  3. It would be far more entertaining if black Friday participants had to wear a shirt with their current bank balance and credit score. #maybe
  4. The only good thing about Black Friday and Cyber Monday are the reminders of which websites to unsubscribe my e-mail from. #Really700emails
  5. It is likely that the mile below sea level club is far more exclusive than the mile-high club. 
  6. In the upcoming movie “Avengers 4”, the plot will likely finally involve the movie series using the word “avenge” correctly. #ItsNotJustFightingAliens
  7. The only part of dementia or Alzheimer’s I’m looking forward to is that a Netflix series will never be over in a day or two. #maybe
  8.  The Build-a-Bear workshop has done a poor job developing the next generation of taxidermists. #MyFishDoesntNeedADress
  9. According to a study by the Journal of Pediatrics and Child Health, it takes on average 1.71 days to pass a Lego. #RealScience
  10. An argument only becomes truly interesting when both sides are right.
  11. A glass of water with milk added is not very appetizing until a tea bag enters the equation. #Seasoning
  12. According to a coworker, a church is just a really old book club.
  13. If Digiorno pizzas claim they are not delivery, I have no idea how they get into stores.
  14. There is no way to prove a memory is real. #NotABladeRunnerReference
  15. The Amish are the one group that will never be involved in internet trolling. #maybe
  16. It’s sad that one has to explain in modern society that a person can be both straight and curvy at the same time. 
  17. Although I understand the logic, it hurts my head that Mars (and other planets & moons) have earthquakes. #ShouldBeCalledTerraquake 
  18. Considering how much technology is in my life, I’ve never had a dream that involved using it (computers, cell phone, etc).
  19. One of the nerd cards in my favorite game is more valuable than gold, rhodium, platinum, heroin, meth, cocaine, LSD, plutonium, and even tritium by weight. #AlphaBlackLotusFTW
  20. The first babies (yes, twins) with laboratory modified DNA were born two weeks ago in China meaning the beginning of many comic book series is now an actual reality. #WorldOfMutantsHasBegun #HIVResistantBabies
